There may not be a better time in Door County than the months of September and October, and there may not be a better time to visit our wineries either. Grab a glass of red wine, soak in the first swaths of fall color, and enjoy the flavors and special events coming your way in the vineyards and tasting rooms of the Door County Wine Trail.
Here’s a look at events and fall hours at a glance.
Through October, open from 10 am – 5 pm daily. The Wet Whistle Wine Fest brings wine tasting, a grape stomp, food and live music on Sept. 20-21. On Oct. 26, check out the fundamentals of mixology as part of the mixology workshop series. Von Stiehl will host the last performance in their summer concert series on Sept. 28 from 12:30 – 4 pm
Harbor Ridge Winery
Through the end of October, Harbor Ridge will be open Mon-Sat from 10 am – 6 pm and Sun from 10 am – 5 pm.Live Music through October every Saturday and Sunday from 1 – 4 pm.
Through the end of October, Door 44 will be open from 10 am – 6 pm daily. The winery will host live music Sept 14 from 11 am – 4 pm and Sept 13, Oct 4 and 12 from 2 – 5 pm.
Lautenbach’s Orchard Country Winery & Market
Through Oct. 23, Lautenbach’s will be open Mon and Wed-Sat from 10 am – 5 pm and Sun from 10 am – 4 pm.
Live music Sept. 14, 21, 28 and Oct. 5 from 1 – 5 pm. Pick your own apples will begin on Sept. 21 and will run daily from 9 am – 4 pm until approximately Oct. 6.
Anchored Roots Vineyard & Winery
Through the end of October, Anchored Roots will be open Mon and Wed-Sun from 11 am – 5 pm. Taste and enjoy live music on Sept 15, 19 and Oct 6 from 1 – 4 pm.
Door Peninsula Winery
Through Oct. 24, Door Peninsula Winery will be open Sun-Thurs from 9 am – 6 pm and Fri-Sat from 9 am – 7 pm.
Lake Fire Winery
Through Sept. 21, Lake Fire will be open Sun-Thurs from 11 am – 8 pm and Fri-Sat from 11 am – 9 pm. Starting Sept. 22, hours will change to Sun-Thurs from 11 am – 7 pm and Fri-Sat from 11 am – 9 pm. Final live music performances of the year on Sept. 13, 20 and 27 at 4 pm and Sept. 28 at 3 pm.
Red Oak Winery
Through October the winery is open Monday – Friday 11 am – 5 pm, Saturday 10 am – 5 pm and Sunday 11 am – 3 pm.
Simon Creek Vineyard & Winery
Through October, open from 10 am – 5 pm daily.
