Each June, the Door County Wine Fest brings together the 10 wineries of the Door County Wine Trail for a wonderful afternoon of tasting at About Thyme Farm in Baileys Harbor. As you wander the barns and picturesque grounds of a 150-year-old farm, you’ll meet the winemakers and owners that are putting Door County on the national wine map.
Explore the flavors of wines made from the fruit of the Wisconsin Ledge – grapes, cherries and apples – and beyond. Whether you’re a lover of casual wines, or if you’re looking to learn how winemakers are working to create the next generation of dry white wines from Wisconsin grapes, you’ll get the chance to enjoy and learn from the people in the field. You’ll also get free shuttle service to and from the grounds, live music and more features to be announced soon.
Wineries include Von Stiehl, Orchard Country, Stone’s Throw, Anchored Roots, Harbor Ridge, Door Peninsula, Simon Creek, Red Oak, Lake Fire, and Door 44.
